Tire Removal and Vehicle Inspection
Taking the opportunity of a front tire swap to inspect various areas
The Caterham 7 has an absurd amount of front camber, so the inside tire wear is extreme.
While swapping the tires, I got underneath and did some inspecting.
The Seven has a surprisingly flat underside.
No major issues found, but there’s paint cracking and peeling on the tubular frame in several spots, so I’m looking into how to deal with that.
I also removed the nose cone and found a slight coolant leak at the pipe connection on the body side of the coolant reservoir.
So I added a hose clamp later and am keeping an eye on it.
