Replacing Parts Around the Front Exterior
The inner fenders were cracked from an accident, so I wanted to replace them
DIY Work
- Front wheel house inner fender left/right replacement
- Left door inner trim fastening screw addition
- Front left fender duct net bonding
Front Wheel Well Inner Fender Replacement (Both Sides)
Lifted the front end and removed the old inner fenders, then cleaned out the wheel wells.
Installed the new ones. Clips were also brand new.
However, possibly due to fender distortion, some clips couldn’t be attached.
Added Screws to Left Door Inner Trim
The door trim had been floating loose for a while, so I removed it for inspection.
Removing it wasn’t too difficult, but the panel that hides the screws below the handle is held in with clips, and I scratched it with a flathead screwdriver while taking it off.
Some of the screw mounting bosses were distorted, so I adjusted them before reassembly.
While I was at it, I also added new sponge around the speakers since the old ones were falling apart.
