Replacing Deteriorated Exterior Parts
I want to proactively replace parts that affect the car's appearance
DIY Work
- Front cowl grille replacement
- Front and rear wiper arm replacement
Cowl Grille Replacement
Some of the blanking caps were missing and the rubber parts had become all floppy.
When this area gets faded or worn, it really makes the car look rough, so I decided to try replacing it.
My one regret is that some of the clips wouldn’t come off, so I ended up forcing them out.
Wiper Arm Replacement
The rear wiper arm in particular had developed rust, so I replaced them.
During the process, the wiper arm hit the glass and scratched it, so I learned that you should definitely protect the glass beforehand.
By the way, the rear wiper ended up in the wrong position, so Mazda fixed it for me later.
